The need for a consultation is not tied only to the existence of a lawsuit. It can arise before signing an agreement, on receiving a claim, or when a professional decision brings an obligation that is hard to assess. The aim is to understand the question and what you need in order to decide, not to obtain a general answer detached from the facts.

Signs worth pausing for

A contractual wording you do not understand, a conflict between what was agreed and what was written, a request to sign a document that carries responsibility, or an existing procedure with a near deadline. This does not mean every situation will become a dispute, but it is worth gathering the information and considering whether a specialist review is needed.

How to prepare the question

Write a brief sequence of what happened, and identify the decision required of you and the outcome you are seeking. Separate the facts that documents support from expectations or statements that need verifying. Mention any dates or official correspondence without publishing them in public channels.

What to expect

The scope of the opinion is set by the question and the information available. The specialist may ask for further documents, or explain that part of the subject needs another service. How the consultation is given, its scope and its fee are discussed before it begins.

You can send an initial summary through Al Maali's form so that the request is directed to the right area. Receiving the request is not an acceptance of the engagement, nor a confirmation of an immediate reply.
