Who is responsible

Al Maali United Law Firm, Legal Consultations and Notarization processes the data you provide through this website. For questions about privacy, or to exercise your rights over your data, contact info@almeali.com.

Data and purposes

When you send a request, we collect your name, your contact number, an optional email address, the type of service and the summary you enter. We use this data to review the request, contact you about it and organise its follow-up.

The website does not itself place cookies, does not show advertising, and does not load fonts from third parties.

The hosting provider records the usual technical data on each visit, such as the IP address, the type of browser and the time of the request, for the purposes of operating and protecting the website.

When a consultation request is sent, the IP address is used momentarily to limit repeated requests, and is not stored with the request.

Sharing

Access is limited to authorised people and to the service providers the firm uses to carry out the purposes described.

Hosting provider (Hostinger): operating the website, the content delivery network and email.

Database provider (Supabase): storing consultation requests and sending sign-in links to the firm’s team. The database is currently hosted in the United States of America; data is transferred to it and held there encrypted, and access is limited to authorised members of the firm’s team.

Measurement tool provider (Google Tag Manager, from Google): managing the tags that measure visits. When the tool loads on a page of the website, Google receives the visitor’s IP address and browser type.

Retention and protection

Data is kept for the period needed for the stated purposes and the requirements that apply, and is then deleted or handled under the approved policy.

Consultation requests that do not become an engagement are kept for no more than two years from the date of last contact and are then deleted automatically. Requests that become an engagement move to the client’s file and are subject to the professional and statutory retention periods that apply. Copies of deleted data may remain in the service provider’s backups for a limited period before they are deleted under its policies.

We apply organisational and technical measures to limit unauthorised access.

Rights and contact

Requests may be made about your data, including to be informed, to access it, to obtain a copy, to have it corrected or destroyed, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis of processing, subject to the conditions and exceptions of the law that apply.

To make a request about your data, write to us at the email address above, quoting the request number if you have one. We verify the identity of the person making the request before acting on it, and reply within the periods that the law and its regulations set.

Measurement and external services

The website uses Google Tag Manager to manage the tools that measure visits, in order to know how many people visit and which pages they read, and to improve the website. Your name, number, email and what you write in the consultation form are not sent to these tools, and measured clicks (such as pressing the call button) are recorded without the phone number. If the firm adds a measurement tool that places cookies, this notice will be updated before it is switched on, and any consent that is required will be requested.

When you use a WhatsApp or map link, or an external website, that provider’s own policy may apply.
